Why do I need a maintenance contract on my franking machine?
Royal Mail requires that for security reasons all postage meters are inspected either physically or in some cases remotely at least once a year, dependent on model. In order to ensure that this happens, FP will not supply a meter without at least a mandatory inspection contract (the inspection is included in the fully comprehensive contract)
What types of maintenance contract are available?
There are two options available for franking machines – our basic mandatory inspection contract or fully comprehensive contract. Basic mandatory will only cover your equipment for the Royal Mail Mandatory Inspection, to be performed once annually, which is the minimum requirement for franking meters
What are the benefits of a fully comprehensive maintenance contract?
Fully comprehensive customers receive helpdesk telephone support and free of charge call outs, labour and parts in the event of engineer visit. If the franking equipment contains a postage rate calculator, it is also covered for inland Royal Mail tariff update chips when Royal Mail change their postage rates.
Do I need a contract on my weighing scales?
A fully comprehensive contract on weighing scales is optional. However, the contract will cover the scales for all call outs, labour and parts in the event of a breakdown. It will also cover the scales for inland Royal Mail tariff update chips when Royal Mail change their postage rates.

INVOICING
How can I get a copy maintenance invoice?
If you need a copy please email accounts with the invoice details and either your OP/I reference number or account number. If you would like it faxed or emailed, just leave your contact details and a copy will automatically be sent to you.
Who do I pay my invoice to?
Check the address and payment instructions on the invoice you’ve received to ensure you make your payment to the correct recipient. If you need further information, just visit our FP helpcentre and follow the links to Payment Methods. (Please remember to send a remittance with all payments made to FP – quoting the correct reference numbers)
Can I pay my maintenance invoice by Direct Debit?
Paying by Direct Debit is the simplest way to pay for your maintenance payments – for peace of mind, why not set this up today, just complete our Direct Debit form and it’s done.
TELESET POSTAGE
How do I check my Teleset balance?
Just login to the FP Helpcentre and visit our Teleset Account Balance page where you can access your Teleset postage account.
How do I fix the error E37?
This means there are currently no available funds on your Teleset postage account. You can contact our Teleset Helpline directly on 0844 225 0222 or email to discuss your account and arrange extra funds.
What is error C27?
The Teleset postage download lines are working, they are just currently all in use due to a high number of customers re-crediting their franking machines.
CHANGE OF DETAILS
How do I change my bank details?.....
Simply print off a new Direct Debit mandate and return to our office (Teleset, Maintenance and Rental if required)
